About the Author

C. P. Clarke is a London based artist and writer of general fiction with a series of novels spanning a variation of genres as well as books based on short stories and poems.  The alternative reality created in his novels, and in many of his short stories, explores the motivation behind some dark characters and their attempts at redemption, split personalities, time travel and the multiverse.

Having started off his writing career as a Christian poet, he performed poetry around the UK and on television and radio.  Later he wrote for two film production companies for which he was Creative Director.

As a writer, actor, and director he has produced material for both stage and screen.

Despite disability, he loves to try and maintain a level of fitness, having previously been a champion martial artist and instructor.

As well as his work in the creative field, he has been very involved in charity and community work, some of which has taken him on numerous trips to Africa.  His experiences of Africa have inspired some of the characters in Furi’on as well as the War Child series of books.

His varied work-life has seen him working in banking, sales, postman, security, and police.

He is fascinated by ancient history, and also by things beyond our understanding.

He loves travelling and experiencing new things.

He has two children with the Rev. Claire Clarke.
